Frank Wakefield News

NEWS
In addition to beginning work on another
new album...
Frank Wakefield and Jim Moss have been
working on 300 station ID's for Bluegrass radio
stations.  These are being distributed in a Bean Blossom
promo CD. This station specific CD contains a program
of classic Wakefield live recordings narrated by
Frank himself. Frank spins tales that are not to be missed.
Learn about
his experiences in the 50's and 60's with Red Allen
on the road and how they went about writing songs.
Hear about
his experiences with Jimmy Martin while in the band
back in 1957, including how the band slept while on
the road.   Hear about what went on
in the restaurants they visited.  Hear it all by tuning into
your local Bluegrass radio show..

You should call your local stations to request the
CD be played, as it is being offered to them at no cost.
The CD's were recorded the first week of May
and sent out soon after.
If your station has not received the CD yet they
can contact us by email...

This is valid for both local US and foreign stations.
T
We never got to when Frank played in the
Stanley Brothers band.  That will have to wait
until next time.
